Ecclesiastes 7 is a terrific chapter.

I get angry rather easily, I get angry at imaginary conversations, or things that happened ages ago; Only a fool has an angry spirit and I think the key to quenching that anger is v21 which says “…do not take to heart everything people say…” Effectively king Solomon is saying brush it off.

I like verse 16 - Do not be overly righteous, Nor be overly wise: Why should you destroy yourself? 

V20 For there is not a just man on earth who does good And does not sin.

King Solomon is such an interesting guy.

God doesn’t only want to be a lamp for your feet but a light to your PATH. As in He wants you to see the future steps, what is ahead, so you can plan for it.

WHY did Ananias lie? I can’t see any good reason! As a kid, my mum would say to me *picture a nigerian setting* “the devil is the father of all liars, are you a liar, are you a son of the devil EH?!”, needless to say honesty is my strongest quality. 

V29 ‘”We ought to obey God rather than men”’. You know it baffles me how these religious men considering themselves to be pious “plotted to kill [the apostles]”.

V39 ‘”…If it is of God, you cannot overthrow it…” Father give me the eloquence of Gamaliel, teach me how to speak the right words at the right time.

V4 And His brightness was like the sunlight; rays streamed from His hand, and there [in the sunlike splendor] was the hiding place of His power. I like the idea of building a profile of what YHWH looks like. Talk about superpowers, the entire marvel universe has nothing compared to this! Haa

Clip of how the earth was made -  v9 …You divided the earth with rivers. It’s really easy to say v17 – 19 until a situation comes and God is genuinely ALL you have got left and that has never happened to me before…

This verse gets me reved up! V19 The Lord God is MY Strength, my personal bravery, and MY INVINCIBLE ARMY; He makes my feet like hinds’ feet and will make me to walk [not to stand still in terror, but to walk] and make [spiritual] progress upon my high places [of trouble, suffering, or responsibility]!  Amen!!

I heard a Hustler say this: Disregard females, Acquire currency

I say: Disregard females, Acquire Wisdom 

I will make Wisdom my only attraction

Because Currency is attracted to Wisdom

And Females are attracted to Currency. 

From this day forth, I pledge to Chase Lady Wisdom
