“Why should I work to make someone rich, richer?”
This has been the question in my head since I finished my summer internship. I have no passion to make a corporate organisation richer, who am I feeding, what am I accomplishing by moving up the ranks in an organisation - a new ipad, a new Lexus?
No, no, I don’t want that. Is that what life is about?
I am now seriously considering working for an international aid/ non profit organisation like Red Cross, UN, UNESCO etc. My vision is to be based in Africa, working in Africa and enriching the lives of my people. Am I too idealistic and naive to desire a life like this. I don’t want to be another tool in a corporate organisation I want to be a bright thread in the fabric of life.
