I didn't know my heart was so heavy.
I am exceedingly glad I went to the Christian Union meeting tonight. So so glad. I was amazed at the number of Christians that just streamed into the meeting. The hall was packed.

I find Paul to be a remarkable man. Agabus essentially tells him ‘you’re going to be beaten up on going to Jerusalem’ and Paul is just like “yer, I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.” Knowingly walking into danger takes…a different sort of psyche. I'M IN UNIVERSITY
Just sorted my internet out. It still feels surreal that I am here. On my own (but with flatmates). No parents though. It’s been a hectic few days.
Arrived on Sunday. Turns out I forgot to buy a duvet or a pillow. Mum cried. I love my mum. It was sad to see her cry. She hardly ever cries. I’m gonna make sure to ring her everyday for the next week.

Why is circumcision such a big deal?!
Judas seems to have been quite a common name but look how Iscariot ruined it for everyone - a bit like how Hitler ruined Adolf for everyone. i said goodbye to some friends today. *sob* also made plans with this girl I’ve had a soft spot for. I leave for university in 2 days. less than 36 hours actually… i dunno how to feel - you know that…soft, mellow, nearly-teary emotion but yet satisfied, smiley feeling …yeah that’s how i feel.

V44 The whole city gathered to hear the gospel preached. I think maybe I’m too familiar with the Bible. These people craved for the Word of God to be read to them.
I think it’s interesting that God never let Paul and Barnabas settle and become comfortable; they started the fire of the gospel and then got kicked out because God wanted them to move on. Father, kick me when I need to move on!
